IPE Team Receives Josiah Macy Jr Foundation President’s Grant

An interdisciplinary team has received funding under the Josiah Macy Jr Foundation President’s Grant for the project titled: “Impact of an Interdisciplinary Leadership Curriculum on Allied Health Students Providing Collaborative Care to the Underserved.”​ ​Grant deliverables include the creation and delivery of the Interprofessional Leadership Development Curriculum (ILDC), including 16-hours of didactic content targeting authentic leadership, professional identity, and professional commitment. Curricular foci are diversity, equity, and belonging (DEB); emotional intelligence; communication styles; influencing others; team dynamics; and leading change. Initial pilot participants will come from the Unity Clinic at Keys Speech & Hearing Clinic experience in the 2023-2024 academic year.
