Symposium Details

April is recognized as Interprofessional Education month across the nation. As a method to observe this, the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center participates in Unity Week. During this week we highlight and celebrate our IPE activities and programs across campus.  The inclusion of a symposium will provide an opportunity to showcase the amazing work of our students, faculty, and staff.

2022 Symposium

We're looking forward to an exciting 2022 Interdisciplinary Collaboration Symposium! 

Presenter Information

  • Call for Abstracts will be released January 3, 2022.  Applications will be brief and submitted digitally and accepted through March 11, 2022.
  • All presentations will require a minimum of two presenters, each from a different profession.
  • Both short 15-minute presentations and posters submissions will be accepted. 
  • Accepted presentations will be notified no later than March 18, 2022.
  • Presenters will be asked to submit their pre-recorded presentations no later than April 1, 2022. 

Attendee Information

  • Registration is free for all attendees. 
  • The registration portal will go live in January 2022.
  • Faculty, clinicians, campus staff, and of course our students are all invited to attend.

Program & Schedule

  • A schedule of presentations will be posted no later than March 18, 2022.
  • The symposium will showcase pre-recorded presentations throughout the day on April 8, 2022.

2021 Symposium

Thank you to everyone who participated in the symposium! It was fantastic to be able to learn about the multitude of interdisciplinary work happening on our campus. We look forward to next year's symposium.
