Small Group Psychological Safety

Didactic:

  • Define the principles of psychological safety (P.S.)
  • Discuss strategies to build trust in breakout rooms
  • Discuss conflict management in virtual settings
  • Demonstrate language/behaviors promoting P.S.

Guided Practice:

  • Using a case study, discuss methods to improve P.S. to improve the interprofessional experience

IPE Simulation (zoom)

Event date: 2/18/2026

Each week a different IPE simulation is offered over zoom and is available to any learner from any campus. Course content focuses on rapid team formation and practicing team communication. The case scenario for the team huddle will vary between simulations. Available simulations include:

  • Breaking Bad News
  • Disabilities (SAME/FAME)
  • Healthy Weight
  • Poverty
  • Sexual History Assessment
  • Substance Use Disorders
