Muslim Cultural Sensitivity Workshop

On December 1, 2021 OUHSC welcomed guest speaker Adam Soltani from CAIR-OK, a local non-profit advocacy group. Mr. Soltani lead a short workshop regarding methods for providing care to patients of the Muslim community and, in particular, our new Afghani neighbors. Content is available for all team members including clinicians, educators, and students. Thank you to CAIR-OK, OU Health, The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and the Muslim Health Professionals Student Association for their collaboration on this presentation.
