To recognize the dedicated service by our students, faculty, staff, and community partners in support of the interprofessional experience, the Unity Appreciation Awards Ceremony was held on April 22nd at Nicholson Tower.

Virtual All Professions Day Two

Event date: 2/23/2024 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM Export event

A series of two interdisciplinary/interprofessional (ID/IPE) training sessions will engage 1,100 students from across the HSC in education related to the IPEC competencies of: roles & responsibilities, communication, values & ethics, and teams & teamwork.  Students will be assigned to an interdisciplinary student team and will participate in a variety of learning activities under the guidance of a trained faculty facilitator.  APD2 is scheduled on 2/23/2024.

Additional Details:

  • Date: Friday, February 23, 2024. 
  • Sessions: All students will be assigned to a two-hour session, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Students only have to attend their assigned two-hour session. Student assignments will be sent two-weeks prior.
  • Where: APD2 will be held virtually via zoom. A link to the event will be sent two-weeks prior.
  • Intended as first ‘exposure’ to ID/IPE content for first-year learners.
